If you are over umm...say 15, and want to see the pictures of poison ivy that I was talking about go here.
If you don't feel like looking at all of the mediocre rash pictures, and want to see the last picture first, go here. That is way beyond scratching to make it feel better. It would just have to itch.
Oh, and oatmeal baths are my new best friend.
"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." john 15:4-5

Kandi found God in Pride and Prejudice, and I found Him in Poison Ivy.
Poison Ivy can be similar to the things of this world. One must be careful how close we get to them. And if I may happen to touch the things of the world, I must be quick to repent, and search my heart, and go to all measures to remove these things. ( If your eye causes you to sin pluck it out, or your hand, then cut it off.) I also must be careful not to allow these things to spread, by taking pleasure in the things of the world, it makes room for them to spread to other areas of my heart. As scratching did for my poison ivy, which is now everywhere. It felt good for a moment, but then made me sick, and infected other areas with the problem.
Now, that is really all I have to say about that.

The Joys of Poison Ivy.
OK, scratching = nausea, but scratching also = relief for a minute or 2. I hate poison ivy, and I hate Calamine lotion.
I didn't know that it turned your skin pink for a day or so. So I read the bottle and it said it removed the oil from the stuff, so I figured it would remove it from my face too. So I painted it all over my face...yeah I was pink. I must have washed my face 20 times before it actually went away all the way. I now have a love-hate relationship with Calamine lotion.

Calamine Lotion is my savior.
Ok, for the past week I have had what we thought to be bug bites, but it is spreading. I know now that it is poison ivy. I have no earthly idea where it came from, but it is there, and I HATE IT!!!!! I don't see the purpose for the plant, I mean there are hundreds of other leaves for things to eat, why create this one, why?
I am seriously considering deleting my blog, I mean...how much time do I WASTE on here?

My new phone
I got my new new phone in, and all of the key work. I now have to take pictures of people for my ID thing. Oh, they sent me another sd card, so Bekah took one. Poor Pop, he asked first, but then said Bekah could have it. I may try and get him one for Fathers Day though.
I have TMJ, and am supposed to be going to the Dr. to see about getting a splint. The dentist said that the TMJ is prolly what is keeping my headaches from goiong away 100%. So a precious few will get to hear me talk with a lisp while wearing the splint. I mumble already, so I will really be inaudible with this thing. But I am sure it will be months from now before I actually get it.

Wonder of wonders...
Did somebody log in under my name and fix my blog? I just noticed that it was fixed. Wow, that's puzzling.
Oh, I just made a label called "storys", and it wasn't until I found and renamed all of the posts with stories, that I realized I had misspelled "stories", and I had to change it.

Keys
I feel like an idiot. Bekah and I are house sitting. Well, Bekah called my cell phone, and I don't get a signal in their house, so, I go out the front door ( the one that sometimes, randomly locks), thinking to myself, "Wouldn't it be funny if it locked now? Maybe I should go in and get my keys.", ignoring that thought, I proceed to close the door behind me, not wanting to waste the air conditioner to the stifling heat outside. I call Bekah, "busy"; call again, "busy";I turn to open the door, and it's locked. No big deal, I'll go to the back door, locked. I call Bekah, and she answers. She was only calling to tell me that she was stepping away from her desk, after hours of paper work. Lovely, I am now locked outside only to find out that Bekah is not at her desk. I check all the windows, they were all locked. So, then I had to remove a mini-AC unit from the kitchen window, and crawl in over the sink. Good thing I had just done the dishes so the sink was empty. Half way through the window, I hear a door open. Did I fail to mention that the neighbors door is directly opposite the kitchen window. Once in, I turn around to see the entire neighboring family staring at me through the window. "Are you O.K.?" came from the mothers mouth. I reply in a pleading tone, "Yes, I locked myself out." To which she said, "O.K., I won't call the police then." So, that is how I spent the 2:00 hour of my day.
