Hello to Apartment D, goodbye to my chucks

Welcome to our humble abode:

The daybed that turned out looking rather nice with the canopy!bed, dresser, bookshelves

desk quaint little bathroom

And now some parting shots of my very first pair of chucks:
The shoe that started it all!

Alas, my stinkin' bike ripped it, and it no longer has the ability to stay on my foot

a problem, that all the staples in the world couldn't fix.
And for those of you that know I was writing it, I got a 100 on my paper.
And lastly, despite all our efforts, I somehow managed to get poison ivy while hiking at Tunica. Yup, craziness.

I got my schedule too. I will let you know what it is when I figure everything out, including the times and stuff.

And it was poison ivy, because the meds. the Dr. gave me are making the rash go away.

Bekah, just ignore this one...Really!!!

If you are over umm...say 15, and want to see the pictures of poison ivy that I was talking about go here.

If you don't feel like looking at all of the mediocre rash pictures, and want to see the last picture first, go here. That is way beyond scratching to make it feel better. It would just have to itch.

Oh, and oatmeal baths are my new best friend.

Kandi found God in Pride and Prejudice, and I found Him in Poison Ivy.

Poison Ivy can be similar to the things of this world. One must be careful how close we get to them. And if I may happen to touch the things of the world, I must be quick to repent, and search my heart, and go to all measures to remove these things. ( If your eye causes you to sin pluck it out, or your hand, then cut it off.) I also must be careful not to allow these things to spread, by taking pleasure in the things of the world, it makes room for them to spread to other areas of my heart. As scratching did for my poison ivy, which is now everywhere. It felt good for a moment, but then made me sick, and infected other areas with the problem.

Now, that is really all I have to say about that.

The Joys of Poison Ivy.

OK, scratching = nausea, but scratching also = relief for a minute or 2. I hate poison ivy, and I hate Calamine lotion.

I didn't know that it turned your skin pink for a day or so. So I read the bottle and it said it removed the oil from the stuff, so I figured it would remove it from my face too. So I painted it all over my face...yeah I was pink. I must have washed my face 20 times before it actually went away all the way. I now have a love-hate relationship with Calamine lotion.

And that is all I have to say about that.

Calamine Lotion is my savior.

Ok, for the past week I have had what we thought to be bug bites, but it is spreading. I know now that it is poison ivy. I have no earthly idea where it came from, but it is there, and I HATE IT!!!!! I don't see the purpose for the plant, I mean there are hundreds of other leaves for things to eat, why create this one, why?

I am seriously considering deleting my blog, I mean...how much time do I WASTE on here?
